in an important way, to me, i agree with him ...

i spent an hour explaining to my father in law a year ago the bearish story.... something i thought i had worked fairly hard to understand beyond a catch phrase.

at the end of it he said: so what's new.

his life spans before the 2nd world war in germany.

in essence, what he said keeps me to the right side of simplicity in a complex destruction of wealth.
