Mike, at the bottom of the '73-'74 bear market, the PE on the S&P 500 fell to about 8. IF S&P earnings rebound to $55 as some firms are saying, the PE would be about 20. Kinda scary. I realize interest rates are lower now which allows multiples to expand, but we may have more to go.

good. this one broke the lower end of a trading range dating back to july, 2000. not pretty at all.
