Hi rightbackatcha, Dominick...

For my tastes, your view of further, possibly severe erosion in the NDX 100 ("If the stock market dies, America dies") is a tad too apocalyptic. I mean, Japan's been in the toilet economically and marketwise for a decade, but it hasn't sunk beneath the waves like Atlantis.

If the NDX re-tests the September lows, and hangs out there for a while, or ricochets around for a few months or years in the neighborhood of 1000 to 1600, or even if it fails and heads into triple-digit-land, that doesn't mean that the economy sucks, or will suck for most people, or that technology is anything other than terrific, it'll just mean that tech companies are companies like other companies - late cyclicals perhaps - with a lot of overdone hopes and expectations to get over.

I'm still waiting for someone to comment on that fibulous chart I posted a couple posts ago! Tough crowd? Blew my mind anyway...
