On the Qs vol vs. Nas Vol, one possibly interesting divergence occurred today: While volume on the QQQ was higher today (a down day, to say the least) compared to yesterday (our reversed reversal), the opposite is the case on the Nas Comp. Normally, I'd give a more bullish interpretation to the Comp sequence, and a more bearish one to the QQQ sequence - though I wouldn't take either in isolation from other volume relationships or indications.

I find your general analysis cogent and mostly persuasive. I do think the volume pattern throughout the most recent topping range speaks more clearly from the Comp side - all those days with heavy volume and little movement. On the Qs, they register as below average. It's somewhat similar around the Winter '01 top, and a little less clear to me around the Spring '01 top.
