For a short period, the available routers would be busier than normal, as they take on part of the disconnected load. Check the Network Update page in QCharts itself. B/t/w, it was a pleasure to meet some of you this week at the NY Online Trading Expo. Traffic at our booth was heavy, in spite of the show being slightly smaller than last year. As mentioned in other posts, the new Overlay Expression feature was demoed, and distributed as a beta. I can't tell you how useful this is, you can imagine the benefit of seeing a large number of symbols on a single chart. Any on-chart study can be hidden/unhidden quickly; the initial settings of any new study can be changed and those preferences saved. A 65+ -page What's New doc was passed around; much of it falls in the area of usability and UI enhancement. In large-screen demos, several people expressed surprise at how quickly one can manipulate the QCharts UI using keyboard shortcuts. We will be calling more attention to this under-publicized aspect of the program, and making sure all frequent operations are available as shortcuts. Several on-chart and pane studies are in a late stage of development and will be released shortly, probably after the 4.2 beta. Anyone who experienced a service interruption will comment that the back end is where effort should focus. This is happening. There will be a series of short server betas, in which people will be directed to unpublished routers to test the effect of back end changes. I don't know where these will be announced, but suggest you check the Network Update page periodically.
