Sea-of-SIlence - Re: "Yeah, it does, but (maybe I don't know enough), but I'm banking on the jump in capability from 32-bit to 64-bit software will be as substantial as the one from 16-bit to 32-bit. "

What does that have to do with running your old software?

Your old software will NOT RUN in 64 bit mode - it is 32 bit software.

You're just giving the MADroid line - making one claim, then switching subjects when that claim is invalidated.

Go on over and play with the real MADroids - they are a happy bunch now that their stock is down to $13 and change - which just means the the always-in-the-future-Hamster-must-be-getting-even-faster.

Sea-of-Silence - Re: "The idea of running virtual machines and such is pretty neat to me."

Great - then the Virtual Hamster is just your machine.

It is ALWAYS VIRTUAL !!!

God forbid you'd want to run 64 bit software on a real machine.
