FROM THE OFFICE OF PETROLEUM GREASING

MSI,

Some new amusements came across my desk:

user.dccnet.com

The geopolitical truth under the cloak of America's New War on terrorism is
the same old ghoulish grab for riches: The new Great Game.

The attack on Afghanistan is not about Sept 11:
news.bbc.co.uk

U.S. gov't analysis of Afghan energy and geopolitics of region:
eia.doe.gov

U.S. analysis of pipeline routes for Caspian basin oil & gas -- the Unocal
connection (see route thru Afghanistan to Pakistan:
eia.doe.gov

The whole enchalada on the Unocal Website.
"The 48-inch diameter [gas] pipeline will extend 790 miles (1,271
kilometers) from the Afghanistan-Turkmenistan border, generally follow the
Herat-to-Kandahar Road through Afghanistan":
unocal.com

Wanted by Unocal (and Dick Cheney's infrastructure industries!) a new,
friendly government in Afghanistan:
worldpaper.com

Global Circle has put together a good page with the above links and other
essaysd on the new Great Game in the Caucasus and America's global oil grab.
I recommend the excellent Covert Action Quarterly essay by Karen Talbot.
It's been around for more than a year, but it now has an urgent relevance.

Watch this space. The new Great Game:
guardian.co.uk

DICK CHENEY, The oil baron:

electrifyingtimes.com

MR. & MRS CHENEY, The facist financers:
motherjones.com

CHENEY, the mobster: public-i.org

CHENEY, the "discrete" war monger:
halliburton.com

CHENEY, building pipelines of blood:
earthrights.org
Please, take the time to read this 45 page report from Earthrights
International.

Finally, what "they" don't want you to know -- just like in 1991 -- It's the
oil, stupid laweekly.com

I also urge you to make John Pilger pilger.carlton.com and Robert
Fisk independent.co.uk part of
your regular reading habit. These two British journalists and documentarians
have a long history in the region, and in the case of Pilger, a particular
understanding of how the globalist juggernaut is bent on total world
domination to protect the "interests" of capital. George Monbiot is also a
good read monbiot.com

Don't take it so personally, sonny boy dude thing.

This isnt' a rant on Clitnon. You say something to the effect there exists a vast military industrial complex conspiracy.

You said The list of terrible things that will happen if we don't intervene militarily in god-forsaken places is, basically, whatever gets a rise out of the taxpayers, or more accurately, whatever can create enough cover to allow Congress and the administration to authorize the actions.

My response was, that we intervened militarily in Bosnia, although the public never really even knew what it was about. If the conspirators were just looking for an excuse for a war, there were plenty of opportunities to go after terrorism. So, maybe there is a conspiracy of the mIC, but your logic doesn't support that theory. Your logic is flawed, on that point.

And now you are saying the CIA is an enemy agency of the US. Hysterical, aren't you? If Clinton had met with the CIA, there would be no freaking war.
