Re: Eisenhower knew a thing or two Kennedy was taken out because after the Bay of Pigs failed to give Havana back to Lansky JFK got cold feet on the Viet Nam adventure. He was a problem. Johnson was much more acquiescent to the JSC and JPM, though his recently revealed tapes indicate a lot of self-doubt about his role. He got replaced by someone with no moral compunctions. Who hired a Stalinist for a Secretary of State..... and as they say, the rest is history... -R.
