Greenlaw, do you own stocks based on earnings? Take a look at earnings for the past 6 quarters and look at expectations for the next 6. Many stocks are trading at mid 20's FEPS and low teens for 2003 earnings expectations.

Remember many trade at up to 30 times FEPS in the earnings trough.

green,

The OSX is driven by

1. A potential NG shortage this winter?

2. The war factor.

3. Money coming out of telecom and tech.

4. Expansion of the strategic oil reserves.

5. Increased demand for NG due to both the expected economic recovery and the reverse of what we had last year with higher demand due to current low NG prices.

6. Supply and demand, where else can you invest at relatively low valuations with lots of upside from a middle east crisis and potential crisis coming down the tracks in 6?, 9? 12? months.

Don't fight it.

I'd take some profits, but would never short it at this stage. Be ready to buy back fast if we break out higher.

JMHO,

Jim
