hard to tell who is buying and who selling aside from the obvious: insiders selling An appropriate comment. All that info is usually given to the public late too. The guys working in the semi biz usually have a clear idea whats going on though. If they have been in it for 10 yrs at least they may know a good deal about the semi biz. Just reading the news tells them loads where others might get confused. For example "the reaper" gets all sorts of confidence from reading financial reports. I don't, I just question everything. The reaper knows what to listen to and what to ignore, well unless further details are needed. He seems to me like an expert on those financial reports. Sure I can read them, but it helps me little in selecting a stock to buy or sell. The semi biz is different though. I've worked in it for 20+ yrs. I can smell whats happening before it even shows itself on the horizen. Others like "Earlie" do too. AMAT are at the top of the food chain. Every Semi company accountant is being given a top priority job of where to save money right now. I expect some of the "billings" at AMAT are for no product at all. There are cancellation charges that can almost be 100%. As an ex semi process engineer, I wince at some of those cancellation charges. Friggin accountants save a penny when we engineers could have had a machine to generate wealth with. It's a never ending battle of course -g-
