I am not over-making the point, IMO. Half or more than AMD's total units produced are Athlons, so for Northwood to exceed this, it must mean volumes on the order of 4-5M units. That's very good, since the part was launched earlier this quarter. Eventually, it's a 'given' that Intel will outproduce AMD, but it certainly didn't take Willamette this fast to ramp up this much. Northwood may be setting records.
