Tome, Yes, same with women, compliance is best.
However the USA should realize that pressure builds in Saudi Arabia and when their oil runs out they will become starving beggars like many other arab countries, unless they make some industrial infrastructure.
trouble is their land is essentiallt worthless, save for oil and they lack the industrious nature of the Japanese to make an industrial country.
Trouble in 50 years.

Dear Tom:

> America wants regimes like in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Iraq before 1991, Iran 1953-1979, etc - none of which resemble democracy.

Being a native of Iran by national origin who still has all his family living there and spending the first 17 years of my life in that country, all I can say to you is, I suppose you think since 1979 and under the guidance of Islam, Quran, and Mohammand its prophet and his groupies (the likes of Khomeini), the regime that is currently running the country is filled with democratic values filled with love, and freedom and hope for a better future! If you genuinely believe that, why dont you do what John Walker did and just leave U.S.A and go and live in Iran?!

Just a thought and suggestion for you to consider...! :)
