Yeah, yeah...but how are their "structures" more virtuous, promising, and less "rotten" than ours?

And how is their doo-doo any cleaner than ours?

In order to compete effectively with the advanced countries, either militarily, politically or economically, the countries with the high population growth rates will have to modernize. But modernization seems to quickly reduce high growth rates.

In other words, by the time they've advanced enough to be a threat, they're (1) on our side because they've modernized, and (2) they're no longer exploding demographically anyway.

The fears that the world is becoming less white because of reduced population growth rates is enough to make me puke.

In addition to the implicit racism, the fact is that the world population is about 30% white, and that's probably been more or less stable for hundreds of years. For those interested in this sort of thing, here's a nice link:
