Approved under the name ASAP-AGX,  the  ASAP  Solution  is  a non-toxic natural disinfectant. Uses The ASAP-AGX product has been  EPA  approved  to  be  used  in  commercial, residential  and  also  industrial  settings.  The approval states that the product may be used on  walls,  tables,  chairs,  light  fixtures,  floors, bathrooms and urinals. The surfaces include those made of glass, porcelain, ceramic, enameled, painted, plastic,  rubber,  metal  and  also  wood.  The registration number is 73499-1. The advantage of the ASAP Solution is that, although the product  is  highly  effective  at  killing  bacteria,  it  is non-toxic  to  humans. In fact, it can be purchased as a mineral supplement and taken internally. Other EPA approvals for waterline And anthrax disinfection American Biotech Labs is looking for two more EPA  approvals  on  the  ASAP Solution  in  the  near  future. The next approval should be as a waterline disinfectant (for the dental industry) by March or April, 2002.  The  third is  as  a  non-toxic  sporicidal  surface  disinfectant for use against the anthrax spore. Foreign antibiotic alternative approval After completing their own testing, the Food and Drug Board of Ghana,  West Africa,  has just approved the ASAP Solution to be brought into the country and used in hospitals and clinics. Approvals  are  under  consideration  in four other West African countries as well. Patented American Biotech Labs is the only producer of an antibacterial  product  of this  type  that  has  been approved for patent by the United States Patent Agency since about 1924. American Biotech Labs' first patent was issued  on April 10, 2001, and it has other patents pending.
