Not if you're wise enough to save and invest a bunch of it like we did. For the last ten years Alaska has earned about $2 billion/year from oil revenues, and another $2 billion/year from investment revenues.

In contrast, the greedy Saudi Arabians foolishly borrowed billions and now have to pay interest to foreign bankers! Saving is good. Debt is bad.
