FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS:
Honda's hi-tech humanoid robot ,Asimo, walked up the stairs, shook hands and rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, Thursday. Looking like an astronaut or your kid's toy, ASIMO was the first non-human being ever to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. Yet, the historic institution never blinked in recognition that the human trading floor’s life span is limited. For now there were still humans to hear the bell - toll.
