Received a catalog from HWP today. 1st class mail and 1st class cat! The prices for boxes, accessories, printers, and service are unbelieveable! I'll be placing an order next week that was not even going to be considered until '03. UNfrigginBELIEVEABLE. Seems it was sent to sm/mid business that have had business with them in the past.

.."channel stuffing"...Its a good thing at the retail level

If a retailer has a heavy inventory of CPQ and HWP computers....then there is less cash or shelf space for a competitor to be added to the lineup.

Accountants may not like it, but whoever gets the most shelf space will probably win the war. Keeping competitors off the shelf is smart business.
