Look at their murderous intent for Salman Rushdie. I consider that a declaration of war by them. First they come for Salman, then they get Daniel Pearl, they crash hijacked aircraft into thousands of people and destroy as much as they can, including themselves, then they'll come for you and me. If somebody declares war on us, there isn't much we can do about it except fight back. They are NOT amenable to reason. Like the Christians in the Dark Ages, they will burn witches at the stake, murder homosexuals [or others who they take a dislike to]. It was only the rolling back of Christianity to a cultish club which stopped the mayhem. Separation of cult and state became the byword for keeping the crazed under control. Until Moslems are removed from the idea of having Mullah Power, they will continue like the crazed Christians of not many centuries ago and up until today. Fortunately, the vicious, murderous, crazed Christians are few in number and are not encouraged by their cult leaders [other than a few freaks like David Koresh, Jim Jones and the 'Let's fly to the space-ship behind Hale-Bopp' Nike-wearing poison drinkers. Of course, being crazed superstitious types, they don't have the wit to really do damage. We need to go to the 'rational' world of Hitler, Stalin and Mao to see what power-based murderous alpha-male dominance hierarchies can 'achieve' if done right.
