First rule of investing is know the fundamentals and invest based on that, UNLESS the story changes. Shady
dealings at the very top of the organization to me is the mother of all story changes. In the face of uncertainty as to the veracity of those reports and in the face of unbelievable market pessimism, it's a heck of alot more prudent to play it safe. There's always time to buy if it's a good long term stock.


Which is all a part of having a plan. ;)

Unless there is far more to this Sequoia story than has already been reported, the minimal amounts which Cisco's officers received is hardly sufficient to make them act against the interests of the shareholders. I see no way that a company of Cisco's stature would jeopardize dollars to make pennies. That type of stupidity would have shown up in their 10K's long ago, if it were true.
