That empty bluster reminds me of the Congressional hearing where the Senator asked the Teamster boss if he were powerful. Thinking about for a second, the boss replied "Well, Senator, if I had to tell you I was powerful, I wouldn't be."

When I was living in Alaska, Jesse Carr ran the Teamsters up there. Negotiations got tough. When the Alyeska suits thought that they were going to pull a fast one and start driving contract loads up the pipeline, a couple of broken knees dissuaded them. When contract talks would get dicey, Jesse would take the opposition aside at the table and ask them how long it would take Anchorage to come to a halt without anything that Lyndon shipped moving off the docks. Generally, management got the idea. Jesse's negotiating strategy was simplicity itself: "When you got 'em by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow."

Ya falla? Sayin' it's so is so lame, or was that, bland.

Balls in your court. Serve.
