<<The Scotland weather was usual for this time of year. >>

Agreed. Very unusal. Everyone is talking about it. We had very little snow this year. Only about two weeks. The highlands just got hammered the last few days with several feet of snow. However I was out on my motorcycle today around the east coast, cold but no snow. Most of the snow on the hills had melted as well.

Overseas flights depends on who you fly with. I flew with BA and the flights were empty. KLM is overbooked. Since I have to fly in the back of the plane I alwasy try to find the ones with a few people as possible<g>.

Lot of layoffs last year in UK. Some this year as well, but like you say, not as bad as it could be. Everyone is watching the US. If you guys tank over there we will not be far behind, nor will the rest of Europe.

<<Have some real nice gains to take on some.>>

Never hurts to take some profits. I think the equity stocks have quite a bit to come down before they are fairly valued. We'll see. Still holding my jr. golds with a tight fist. I have to work so it is diffacult to day trade so I tend to hold with deep stops in place.

Being in the oil patch myself, I think we are still pretty soft. All the trouble in the ME is keeping prices high I think. In a couple of years we will be getting most of our oil from Russia/Baltic states. JMO. Warm winter will not make the NG's move very high from here. BWDIK?
