In June of 1998, the Company
formed a 50/50 Joint Venture (the "Joint Venture" or "China JV") in China with
Nippon Sheet Glass Co. ("NSG") to process, sell and export certain types of thin
film coated glass (Note 4).

IMO, probably a double edged sword. Since AFCO appears to have a piece of the "motherglass" action they will benefit from a price increase, however, depending on NSG's production capacity, a shortage of raw materials may hurt AFCO in both coated glass sales and coating equipment sales...

BTW, AFCO recently filed a slew of "ownership" filings on EDGAR. I think it's all the new German officers from the acquisition.
