Wow, I'm bookmarking this post. Larry just predicted something in the future. I just have to make sure I live to see 2017 (and SI does too <G>).

I'm going to start by getting more rest tonight. That will help me live longer.

LD You will see low PE's again in March 2017

This may come as somewhat of a surprise but many of us are going to be dead before that date.

Dead investors don't worry about low P/Es very much.

Interesting. My analysis of demographic patterns, using the relative #s of investors entering their 40s and 60s, as well as the year to year momentum effect, leads me to project the end of a secular Bear Market sometime around 2016. I also expect low PEs and high dividend yields around that period.
