Actually, no stomach for true death watch : takes too long and anything could happen in between. The only indication I have that 7 or 8 or 9 was not a bottom in january was that there were too many delusions of rdram's 'future' role in the PC space on yahoo. Funny thing about false expectations is that they are very easy to blow up and opportunists like to move against them. The point when most longs realize the truth, I think that might be a solid bottom for this guy, which should not move unless unexpected things happen (eg : that class action thing). If you hear everyone talking about how great PSX-2 is selling and rambus memory taking 100% of that, then there is a chance, o/w, more pain will come. Other than that, short term, it's hard to think that it will move significantly below this point without actual news. ---OTOTOTOTOTOTOT--- In the very early days, the eTailers were great, I bought lots of really neat toys below cost financed by the shareholders of these wacky sites. That stopped in mid 1999 though as some semblance of fiscal bean counting fiduciary nonsense made the crazies disappear. Remember the SNL style sketches where eddie murphy is in an ad selling electronics while the owner's away? Well, this was what happened with the eRetail thing --- the principals of some sites sold items below cost while the shareholders (or investors) weren't looking in the interest of creating churn and fatten the top line. Heck, they were competing to give the things away at outright steals. That! was the golden age of eRetail for the gadget guys. I have a closet full of 4-5 year old junk to prove I was in the thick of it, hope you didn't miss it.
