Go back ?
or
Hunting for the memetic motherlode

My contention is that we have just arrived and that we have nothing to go back to, we are less than hunter gatherers, we are still in the prey/predator relationship stage. New territory is being created every second and new perils kill off memetic "safe havens" on a regular basis. The ratio of survivors in SIberspace is much higher than in most areas of cyberspace, SIberians are actually very well suited to the changing climate. Evolution is driven through the prey/predator relationship and the rapidly changing nature of the new space is becoming evident in the huge kill ratios for most communities. As the global mind coalesces the knapping will begin, at present we struggle for the right to host that coalescing mind.

You say it too simply but I will gladly supply the coffee until break-even. The modern age really hasn't arrived yet. In the real world the very best illusions are done by performers acting in concert, in cyberspace illusions are real.
Salt you say ?
