For what its worth, historians seem to agree that the Jews were a tribe that "dropped out of Afghanistan some 4500 years ago, with a passage in Babylon on a general western route toward... Pacific Palissades or swim ?
Thus, are the Jews entitled to a part of Afghanland ?
What about a small chunk of each place ?
What about, an ethnic group has no right if it can't defend itself ?
Or even better : Those who may have invented the concept of a unique god got to pay for it,
or be blessed... or damned, or nothing (choose your own pick, mine is nothing).

There is no debate that Hebrews who evolved into Judaism, existed in Canaan conquered it or slowly moved in and assimilated with the indigenous culture/faith.

G-d, according to the faith, disbanded ancient Israel for sinfulness and non-observance. It is no different today.
