I took a hiatus for a couple of months, but these people are still just as clueless as they were when I started my break. It is not possible to convince them because they are incapable of reasoned thought. This is a fascinating mental model you've highlighted. What exactly* is Mrs. Broaddrick "like". Do you know her personally? Did you see the taped interview?*

I have no idea what she's like. There are, however, many in the news and many stories. That is the only "like" I'm aware of. You can say "where's there's smoke there's fire", and I'll agree with you. Why waste time on an incident that isn't corroborated. I'll give you an incident that has never been published anywhere. I know a woman (now married to a friend of mine) who has a letter from Bill from one of his campaigns many years ago, a love letter, written to her while he was married. During the first pres campaign she could have submitted that to the press, and it would have been huge news. I wanted her to, just to see the fireworks. She didn't. Another incident. My sister is a Democrat, who worked on a Clinton campaign, and talked about how "handsome" he was and all this crap. I found that frustrating, because my sister is normally an intelligent woman, and it irritates the hell out of me to think about politics as being so strictly emotional devoid of issues. But there it is.
