To the Thread: Make sure you see the movie Pop and Me. I think this is one of the best movies I have ever seen. This is a documentary about a father and son who take a trip around the world together. Past and present are nicely wound together, giving us insight unto this pair of travelers. The icing on the cake is that they talk to fathers and sons all over the world. This movie is so amazingly touching, and so wonderfully honest, I can't remember seeing anything quite like it. Ponette was close- and also great, but this movie is so uplifting. I absolutely insist that you all go out and rent it. Yes, I insist. :-)
