You're absolutely correct, I think we both agree, I was speaking in general terms... in my post I was implying the references be made directly within the body of the text itself enclosed in parentheses and without quotes; I'm used to the APA format and that's where all the references are cited... quotes are not used with the APA format... of course, the listing of all references are also presented in alphabetical order in the back index section of the paper..... well, now that we have that cleared up, let's write a paper.....
