Monica, thank you for good news. You forgot to mention the following message down the thread: "Sun, 24 Feb, 2002 02:10am I didnt. I just waited till the egg was done and shut down. the chip was dissposable so it didnt matter if it blew but luckily it is still working now with watercooling again ;-)" tekforums.co.uk It was an impressive demonstration how stable AMD chips are at elevated temperatures, even above water boiling point. I even think that the pile of coins was not the best heat transfer plate, so the chip temperature was likely significantly higher than that. Thanks again, - Ali
