Is the Sanyo 5150 with color display and downloadable ringers and images a 1x enabled phone?

I see the Sanyo SCP-5150 on the Qualcomm slide of 1X phones.

The 5150 has the MSM5105 chip. Several of us have looked into the 1x enabled part, and determined it does not have the software to support packet data. As best I can tell, there will not be a software upgrade offered when the 1x networks are lit.
