Although I don't expect to make much headway with the inflation-deflation, gold up is good, gold down is good, just wait until he lowers/raises the discount rate crowd, we're not going to see much higher interest rates for quite a while, imho. All Uncle Al has to do is back off on the money supply gas pedal a little as the US economy recovers this year. Your proposed 50 basis points increase by year end is about right.
