Kirk, Does that make sense? Yes. One of the problems with surveys is bias built into the questions... Which would you prefer? a) HP acquires Compaq resulting in a $5-$7 per share increase in price? or b) HP does not acquire Compaq and many HP employees lose their jobs and eventually the company goes out of business? In other words, "lies, damn lies, and statistics". I'd be interested in hearing R.D.'s and Elizabeth's view of whether or not there was any bias built into the questions they were asked. Dave
