Paul, <When will the desktop version arrive> Funny you should be wondering about that. Right now, the only thing that's keeping Plumas away from the desktop is the lack of AGP. This is a server chipset, after all, and servers don't need AGP. Late this year, Placer will be introduced. This server/workstation chipset will include, among other things, an AGP interface. I expect this chipset to be popular among the hardware enthusiasts, if not the mainstream because of its relatively high cost compared to the 845 chipset. Tenchusatsu
