Do you believe that ENE would still be in business if CPN had not stepped up to the plate and negotiated long term energy contracts at rates 1/10th of the then current spot market prices? I do not think there was any other generator willing to do this and CPN's more ethical business practices may have been the catalyst that caused the ENE house of cards to come crashing down. Maybe it was not in CPN's best business interest to have done this after all this is said and done. Could be a very sad outcome and will cause Harvard to update its business case courseware. When there are a lot of sharks and blood in the water, you are a stupid shit to dive in.
