Only 30 components to manipulate. Dow is now running like Nasdaq. Irrational exurberance will die soon.

DO, more importantly DOW is divergent from SPX. Draw your own conclusions whether this can continue.

Dow vs. Nasdaq: Dow strength in the face of Nasdaq weakness is impressive.
Mutual Fund cash flows have been heavily skewed recently, with persistent outflows from Internt'l and Tech, and moderate inflows into Small Cap, Value etc. Given that no one with any stature is stepping up to repeat the old mantra - Long-term investors can make more in the Nasdaq than the Dow if they have a long term horizon and can tolerate high volatility - it looks like the Nasdaq will continue to underperform for the next month or more. Its been months since there's been any consistent expression of confidence in the Tech/Nasdaq long term outlook. Until that changes, we can't have a good Nasdaq rally.
