So do you think they are really at war for the just the other 10%? Or have they reverted to earlier motives? If the majority of Israelis think it's the latter, surely you can see why. Well, and good morning to you, Nadine. Surprisingly, I wasn't talking about Arafat, the Palestinians, the Arabs in that post. Rather about Safire's deliberately slanted statement of the issues. From the Palestinian side (skip Arafat for the moment) the settlement issue is biggie number one. If I were being uncharitable this morning, I could even call the settlements deliberate provocations from the Israeli right wing. But I wouldn't do that. John
