I am in Scottsdale, AZ. and from what I can see the housing market is no where near as wild as in the past. They have built 8 new houses on the next street from me in the past 5 years. The first 7 sold before construction was completed without the construction company using a realtor. The 8th home has been finished for 9 months and a realtor has an open house every weekend in it. Up until a year ago people were knocking on my door asking if I would sell and now the house across the street has been on the market for 2 months. Last year it would have been sold in 2 weeks.
