New information is news, irrespective of when the event(s) took place or whether or not it's welcome. By your logic, most of the Enron information wouldn't be news because the events took place a while ago, e.g. Mr. Lay selling a large number of shares last year.

For the record, I have a long LU position. I just appreciate good information, both factual and honest opinion.
