I wholeheartedly agree. However, I think that John's focus has been microscopic in nature. Looks at anything in minute focus for long enough and all the beauty spots will become ugly zits. I suppose I could get tired of even the sexiest woman if I looked at her long enough.

The fact of the matter is that Q rules 3G, has lots of cash in the bank, is the premier manufacturer of telecom ASICs, is managed extremely well, has no significant accounting problems, and has an exceptionally bright future. The only significant problem I see is the one caused by Dr. J.'s eventual retirement. He is clearly the inspiration behind lots of Q's success. Don't know how the Q will handle his absence. Depends on the nature of the next CEO, and he hasn't been ID'd yet.

In the cavalcade of horribles posited by mucho, John, etc. it is curious that this major issue has not even been mentioned.

We can argue 'til the cows come home about EBITDA, GAAP, options, pro-forma, etc., yet none of them, in my opinion, will make a peppercorn's worth of difference 7 to 10 years from now.

In a dirty world, Q is an exceptionally clean company despite the constant attempts to tar-brush it
