Hello Engineer:

I doubt BRKa will ever see the kinds of returns it had in the past due to diminishing investment opportunities for a capital base so large, but in my personal opinion, Buffet's investing philosophy is timeless.

Best, Huey

>>EXACTLY!! Anyone wiht more than $1B in the bank can do whatever they want, as they have $100M set aside to live on for 10 years while they are wrong.<<

the point you MISS by a country mile is that he didn't start with $1 billion and he didn't rely on luck (or a one trick pony) to get it.

ps - the reason that qcom is falling is b/c it was absurdly over valued due to hype. i don't argue that the present rumor mongering may be hurting qcom's stock. i don't contest that it may be false.

i do contest what appears to be intellectual dishonesty that goes, "if the rumors and innuendos make me rich then they are good, if they cut into my wealth then they are evil."

but, then again, intellectual integrity isn't THE goal, is it?
