The flip side of "deliberately manipulating human reproduction" is bemoaning what a counterproductive job our society is doing--we are breeding down rather than up.

Maybe we should start by killing or castrating the mentally retarded, the gays, the Jews, etc. Oh, shucks, that's been done already.

The likelihood of having a positive mutation is increased by mixing the gene pool through inclusion than by segregating it.
