You can't do it

Lets agree to disagree on this one John. I see another movie is coming out about Vietnam that is positive towards the troops there. Unclewest will like this one, IMO. It is Mel Gibsons new one, at this site:

We seem to have got past the antivietnam flicks for a while.

Hi JohnM; Re walking down the street with a rifle being legal...

I've done it many times. Never had anyone comment on it. At least once I was with a group of other guys at the time, all of us armed, most with multiple weapons. Once we got to the gun range, we set up targets and fired holes through them. Set up little steel targets shaped like critters and knocked them over with bullets. No big deal.

Other things I've done:

(1) Walked down the street carrying a can of gasoline.
(2) Went into a store and bought ammunition and a gun, and walked out with my purchases on the same day.
(3) Bought knives with blades longer than 6 inches and walked out of the store with them.
(4) Bought an axe and carried it out of a store.
(5) Purchased thousands of books of matches at one time. No one said a thing about it.
(6) Bought unusual chemicals, including potassium cyanide (no ferro or ferri) at the local drug store. (Kills ants dead, dead, dead.)
