Several years ago I saw a TV program about the ongoing loss of land to the sea in Trinidad. The program showed footage of abandoned street signs several blocks out in the ocean. Based on the map in my world atlas, it looks like much of the island is low and flat, with mangrove swamps along the coast. So I don't think they can all just move up hill. BTW, that New Zealand leg of lamb I bought for US $4.29/lb is really good! I'm eating a cup of lamb stew here at the computer right now.
