Re : "what's gfy?" -- this reminds of what I have been told : "NFI" means.

NFI is often used in the following scenario :

A floor trader from the CBOE calls an upstairs options trading desk at a securities firm, and says something like :

"We've got a seller coming in here soon. Looks like he's going to sell about 500 IBM $95 calls. He's willing to hit the bid, maybe go 1/8 below, if we can't do the whole thing at the bid. You want any of the trade ?"

Answer (sometimes) :

NFI

First word is : "no"

Last word is : "interest"
