I unnerstand. If we do it, they're puppets and we're bad. If we insist the world takes up its shared responsibility, we're bullies and we're bad. If we don't do it, they'll harbor folks whom attack Americans because we neglected them, which makes us bad.

All my point was, we're bad no matter what. And of the options, if the rest of the world refuses, it's better to limit the physical attacks on civilians.

So sometimes the only reasonable options are a)kill them all, or b) help them rebuild.
