Actually, I think I'm simply applying a simple definition of "simple" to the is-it-simple question...

I was originally responding to a statement that appeared to suggest that all successful trading methods were so simple they appeared "stupid." To me, as soon as you're talking about selecting from among different tools that might suit different situations, and implicitly from among whatever tools that might be used to determine the particular situation, you're talking about a process that's a lot more complicated than "it kind of looks like it wants to go from this bunch of ticks here to around here - and don't show me volume cuz that will just confuse me." Or do you want to argue from some sophistical vanishing point at which anything's really just as simple and complex as anything else?
