about 975 at 10 AM. I'm going to give it another 15 minutes see if it can get to 1000 wbefore turning it up. Still a long long long way to go, and the true heart rushing excitment doesn't begin until flames are shooting out the peep holes a good 6-8". it'ss be interesting to read my notes later this afternoon :) P.S> I went home and got my old wasted pyrometer for my electric kiln. it had five thermocouples, I've fried four of them. The last one it getting beat up too, butit's reading about the 975 temp. Will be interesting if it gets stuck there as I raise the temp. Godda go. hope mr market is on my isde. No quotes, no chart, no CNBS, just me and fire :))))
