09:59 ET Consumer Confidence falls to 94.1; weaker than expected : Consumer Confidence fell to 94.1 in February from 97.3 in January. This decline will not come as much of a surprise to the market given the comparable decline in the Univ of Michigan preliminary Feb reading to 90.9 from 93.0, but might nevertheless be a bit disappointing to the market.

Oracle reports in couple of weeks. The way its been shedding employees to meet the numbers show business weak for applications and databases. It has held up so far. Could be a good short into earnings.
