MARKET ALERT --- Did everyone get out of the their long positions and take profits as the consumer confidence number came out weaker than expected. I suggested yesterday that the number would be used as an excuse to buy or sell and it was.

In this market almost any excuse is used to buy or sell the market. I got out with profits on everything but AOL which was flat or a slight loss. I still hold KG (drug delivery co.) which is holding up well. I'll be back into WM and maybe some techs like XLNX later.

CONSUMER SENTIMENT NUMBER WEAKER THAN EXPECTED ---- still nothing to really worry about though. Let's see if the Market realizes that later on.

WATCH DURABLE GOODS TOMORROW!

I like DHI equally with MTH as DHI is also listed #1 in homebuilder section in IBD and has a rating of 7 in Poormans vs 8 for MTH.
